Yoshio Ishikane, 97, of Hilo died Sept. 2 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Paauilo, he was a retired carpenter, a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Hilo Betsuin Hoyukai, Nohea Kumiai, and Hawaii Carpenters Union.
